Michelle is an undoubtedly multi-talented Senior Stylist, Salon Manager and Partner of Hair Republic | Salon. Michelle received her Hair Styling Diploma from the Versailles Academy, a Diploma from Toni and Guy Advance and a Diploma in Business Marketing from Algonquin College. Some of her many accomplishments include working with Toni and Guy, Colour Masters, Icon Mentor, Advance Cutting and Essential Looks. Michelle is an expert with all aspects of men’s and women’s hair cutting and styling, with a particular love for colouring, colour mapping and up-do’s. Her ability to understand her client’s wishes and transform their hair into something remarkable is why her clientele stays loyal and returns to her time and time again. As someone who spends endless time at Hair Republic | Salon, it is nearly impossible to believe her dedicated work ethic continues on her days off with volunteering at community events, working with her charity of choice and spending time with family. She views her grandmother as a role model and would be a Teacher if not a Hair Stylist which exemplifies the helpful and nurturing attitude you cannot miss when around her. Michelle’s favourite travel destinations include Vietnam, Thailand, Netherlands and California but living in Ottawa is the perfect place for her to raise a family, be surrounded by fantastic people and experience diverse cultures in a safe environment. Her favourite type of food is Vietnamese and she hopes to complete the Camino Trail one day. Michelle has always loved the art of hair cutting and styling as she has always cut her doll’s hair, friends, and her own ever since she could hold a pair of scissors. Opening up her own business is a result of always playing the role of shop keeper as a child and her ambitious nature and love for the industry. When you ask Michelle what Hair Republic | Salon means to her, she says,
“This is my life. We have an incredible team at HR and we work incredibly well together.”
